Established in 1951, Burn McKenzie is a 100% blended Scotch Whisky that combines the finest malt and grain whiskies from more than 10 different distilleries. Every whisky used has been carefelly selected, matured for at least 3 years or longer in oak barrels, and then blended using special techniques which have been passed down through the generations.

 

Tasting Note
 
Nose: Light caramel and integrated wood, a touch of vanilla with a touch of malt, mixed green grains and spirit, fresh fruit (pears, apples, oranges, and lemons) and citrus peel, a bit of osmanthus and green tea, and a fading sharp baking spice and alcohol burn.
 
Palate: Mixed fruit jelly bars, a touch of mixed grain muesli, a touch of honey and ripe fresh fruits, bitter caramel and baking spices, and oak.
 
Finish: Licorice pastels, citrus schnapps, dark chocolate covered espresso beans, oak tannins, and wood char with a bitter-sweet floral note.
