The Dewar's team has got its hands on some Mizunara casks for this excellent expression! Japanese Smooth is an eight year old blended Scotch whisky which has been finished in casks made from Mizunara oak from Japan, imparting some elegant, aromatic notes to the dram. More than suitable for enjoying neat, in a cocktail, or in a Highball.

Tasting Note

Nose: Earthy oak with a whiff of smoke, plus light hints of citrus oil.

Palate: Sandalwood, plum, forest floor, toasted grain, and a touch of cinnamon.

Finish: Sweet smoke and a little red fruit juiciness.

Like the clear, exquisite song of a small bird, it features an agreeably pure, mellow flavor.

Carefully selected unprocessed whiskies and pure, natural spring water are expertly blended to create this distinctive whisky.

Tasting Note

Nose: A faint suggestion of smoke with pear blossom and plump sultana.

Palate: Tinned pears on the palate, with banana bread and thick custard.

Finish: Creamy oak spice and a floral elderflower finish.
