It's a peated expression from Grant's - Smoky Triple Wood! The blend marries grain and malt whiskies aged in the same casks as Grant's Triple Wood, refill American oak casks, first-fill ex-bourbon casks and virgin American oak casks. However, the obvious difference here is the addition of peated whiskies used, to create a thoroughly satisfying and delicately smoky blend.

Tasting Note

Nose: Playful aromas of smoke with subtle notes of fruity apple and pear, liquorice, treacle, malted oats and salted almonds.

Palate: Initially smoky, fading into sweet buttery toffee, is soon succeeded with a soft, sweet fruitiness of melon, apple, pear, vanilla and a hint of citrus, black pepper and clove.

Finish: Smoke returns with a syrupy sweet smoothness, alongside pepper, liquorice and dry tannins.

40% ABV
