Dalmore Valour Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky [1000ml]

The Dalmore Valour is a Travel Exclusive, crafted to honour an astonishing act of bravery by an ancestor of Clan Mackenzie, owners of The Dalmore distillery for over a century. Matured initially in American ex-bourbon casks, the spirit is then transferred to 30-year-old Matusalem oloroso sherry wood casks from Gonzales Byass, before a final finessing in port pipes from the Douro region in Portugal.

Tasting Note

Nose: Crumbly shortbread drizzled with toffee and dotted with plump raisins. Deeper notes of candied orange peels.

Palate: Chocolatey and rich, with treacle and malt loaf. Despite all this decadence, it still shows off some lightly qualities with golden barley and a touch of nutmeg.

Finish: Long and warm - plenty of orange aromas and cinnamon.
