Bacardi 8 Ron Años [1000ml]

Bacardi 8 Años is an aged rum offered by the Bacardi brand. While it started out as a private reserve for the Bacardi family itself to enjoy, the 8-year-old rum was released as a limited edition in 1995. It was so popular that the family decided to release a variation the following year. This product is a blend of Bacardi rums, all of which have been aged for no less than eight years in lightly charred oak barrels. Once married and bottled, Bacardi 8 Años is a distinctive, copper-gold rum that is worth the wait.

This rum is complex and elegant. The palate is a wide range of flavours collected from the various rums that make up the well-balanced blend. After ageing in oak for eight long years, this mature rum is the perfect sipping rum. Enjoy it either neat or on the rocks, alongside a bit of chocolate if you choose. A rum like this is meant to be savoured.

Tasting Note

The nose is fresh and perfumed with notes of oak and peels, a little syrup with a fennel note. The palate is sweet and rich with tropical fruits, peels and winter spice. The finish is gentle and luscious.
