Highland Park Wings of the Eagle Single Malt Scotch Whisky 16 Year Old [700ml]

Released in 2018 as an exclusive for the Travel Retail market, Wings of the Eagle spent 16 years maturing in sherry seasoned and European and American oak casks before bottling. The result from Orkney distillery Highland Park is a slightly smoky expression but more prominently you'll find traces of vanilla and hazelnut, with a slight touch of tobacco on the finish

Tasting Notes

Nose: Shortbread, waxy orange peels, pine resin and a subtle waft of hickory smoke.

Palate: Smoke remains soft, letting notes of vanilla and mixed nuts lead the way.

Finish: Almond butter, a touch of tobacco, crunchy brown sugar.
